Judy Romlin is Executive Vice President and an Officer of Milestone Growth Fund, Inc. She is committed to the principle that building wealth and creating role models in our minority communities is the best way to ensure social stability and help our society share in the American dream.

Ms. Romlin oversees many of Milestone’s portfolio companies, including early stage and expanding businesses. She is responsible for new investments, including business plan review, due diligence, and presentation for approval to Milestone’s Investment Committee. She manages Milestone’s participation in the State of Minnesota’s Urban Initiative Program (MUIP).

Ms. Romlin has over 16 years in the banking business, primarily in commercial banking. Prior to joining Milestone, she was the Vice President of Commercial Banking Department for National City Bank, where she managed a $20 million portfolio of middle market accounts in industries ranging from food industry to manufacturing to agri-business. She also served as Vice President of the Business Banking Department for Norwest Bank’s Camden Office and at Marquette Bank Minneapolis, where she managed a middle market portfolio of $25 million. While with Marquette Bank, Ms. Romlin also started and managed the Small Business Banking Department and managed 15 employees at the Center Village Office of the Bank.

Ms. Romlin is active in a number of associations, including the Minnesota Venture Capital Association (MVCA), the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC), and the National Community Development Venture Capital Alliance (CDVCA). She has served on the State of Minnesota Non-Profit Review Committee. She currently serves on the Finnegans Brewery Advisory Board and on the Dollars for Scholars Board of Directors. Ms. Romlin also represents Milestone on some of its portfolio companies' boards of directors.

Ms. Romlin graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and attended the Venture Capital Institute in Chicago in 1996.
