Ching-Meng Chew Joins Milestone Growth Fund's Board of Directors MINNEAPOLIS, MN (October, 6, 2003) Milestone Growth Fund, Inc., a Minneapolis-based non-profit, venture capital fund, is pleased to announce that Ching-Meng Chew, Assistant Treasurer of Medtronic, was elected to its Board of Directors on August 14, 2003. Chew has over 20 years in the finance industry. He currently heads the worldwide Treasurer Department for Medtronic, which handles cash management, investments, foreign exchange, debt, banking, and pension investments. Chew was formerly the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for SpectraScience, Inc., where he handled raising capital for the company. Prior to this he was Vice President of International Banking at Wells Fargo (formerly Norwest Bank). Chew is also very active in his community. He volunteers for the Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth, which promotes enjoyment in learning as well as serves on the Board of the Minnesota Chinese Cultural Association. Chew is also a soccer coach. Chew received his MBA in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
